Paranoia Papers 1 – The Pentagon

No Me Digas. Op-Ed: Keith Price

So as we continue to watch the fall of Afghanistan into the hands of the Taliban, we are still dealing with the lack of urgency in responding to the Act of Insurrection against this country by its own citizens. According to Reuters, the FBI claims that it has found scant evidence that the attack was coordinated. Now my rant may seem like yet another 420-inspired, paranoid delusion, but there are so many links that even my conspiracy-theory-loving-Law and Order SVU -marathon-watching-behind cannot pretend I don’t see. When you watch the footage from January 6th that the New York Times put together, you cannot really believe that the FBI thinks that it is only scant information linking any of this to a grander conspiracy.

Let’s start at the Pentagon.  Immediately after the highly contested 2020 election (by those crazy Republicans) there was an abrupt change at the Pentagon by the sudden termination of Sec. Of Defense Mark Espers.  Just like the fictional television character, MURPHY BROWN, Trump had a hard time keeping a permanent staff. Many of those cabinet positions remained with acting executive leadership, instead of Senate confirmed leadership.  Of course, it is easier to manipulate a department when you replace them with your own personal puppets, like former Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller.

Oddly enough there is a memo circulating from the desk of Christopher Miller regarding a laundry list of things that should and should NOT  be happening on January 6, 2021.

In retrospect, how ODD does this seem to you?  I guess if you knew there was a plan of some sort that included people needing to breach one of the most sacred and NORMALLY protected spaces in our government during a moment of historical tradition in our country, then it helps to disarm the security to its barest or simply just delay them, right? Of course if you are merely expecting a LARGE number of tourists who happen to come with their own bear spray, gallows, and zip ties, then why would you not relax security efforts?

To some people, questioning our government means that you must be unpatriotic. That’s on them.   I definitely believe that after 9/11, not questioning your government will ultimately get you killed, or at least spend 20 years in a foreign country pretending that you really want them to have “democracy.” I’ll stay paranoid, but I will gladly do an “I TOLD YA SO” dance later when my paranoia proves true. The good thing is knowing that you are not the only one thinking something is fishy.

Wear a mask. Wash your hands. Stay Distanced.
